Rajasthan is known particularly for its art and culture. Block printed and embroidered fabrics are exported worldwide, together with semi-precious stones and handicrafts.
Though much of Rajasthan is desert it has a wide variety of flora and fauna and the game preserve at Ranthambore claims India’s largest population of tigers.
