This is a testimonial to the amazing job Ellison Roberts did when they arranged our 17 day trip to Karnataka and Kerala this past month. Steve and I had always wanted to go to India but had no idea how to go about it. We were intimidated by its sheer magnitude, wealth of cultures and variety of languages. We wanted to experience people in their homes and be leisurely in our travels. Also, we didn’t really want to go to the big cities or to the most widely known sites but did want to see some of the historic temples and eat lots of the fabulous food! We did all of this and much more. Having guides and drivers was wonderful. Gopal and Notaraj in Karnataka and Sanjosh, Alan and Jay-Jay in Kerala were superb. Rohini from TCI checked in with us almost every day and was very helpful. It was the best possible way to see India and we can’t wait to go back! Thank you Graham for all the hard work. It surpassed our expectations.

Had an amazing time in Kerala. Stayed with some lovely people. Especially enjoyed the stays with Thomas and Geetha Chettan. We were able to leave our English winter woollies with them as we were going back to them. We sat outside on the porch and watched the lightning, listened to the thunder and smelt that lovely earthy smell of refreshed garden. That was special. Your agent kept a close eye on us, phoning every day to make sure that we were OK and at the place we were meant to be and our driver, Kisheed, was very careful and conscientious. Did not buy a sari, but bought several churidars which I hope to wear with panache in the summer. John bought Indian shirts and some sparkly outfits for our grand-daughters.

Hi Steve Where do I start! The whole Rajasthan trip was an amazing experience - unlike anything we had done before. Your agent’s organisation was absolutely superb. Rohini was very professional and kept in touch with us throughout the trip and pulled strings on several occasions to give us hotel upgrades, and very special treatment at Devigarh on Marilyn’s birthday. Having the loan of a mobile was a real bonus. Our driver, Kulbir Singh, who was with us from airport pickup to departure, was very positive, informative and responsive to our requirements. All the accommodation was superb - in most cases better than expected and often with a real 'wow' factor.The helpfulness, knowledge and professionalism of the guides was outstanding and greatly enhanced our knowledge of the history, peoples and activities, and thus our overall enjoyment of the trip. Finally, many thanks for all your assistance in planning the whole thing - including fitting-in my train trip - we did not see a tiger but we did have a mouse as company in our exclusive 1st class compartment on the train!
